Neither Derrick Rose or Andre Drummond will represent the Detroit Pistons at the 2020 NBA All-Star game, at least not to start the game.
The NBA announced the All-Star starters for the game in Chicago on Feb. 16. Rose, a native Chicagoan, benefitted from a fan vote boost, ranking as the fourth-highest guard in the Eastern Conference.
However, the players, which account for 25% of the vote, had him as seventh and the media, the other 25% of the vote, voted him sixth. The fan vote made up 50% of the votes.
Drummond was eighth overall among Eastern Conference frontcourt members, and third against traditional centers Joel Embiid and Bam Adebayo.
