DETROIT - The Detroit Pistons struggled to get stops during the disastrous second and third quarters Friday, and their defensive decline continued in a 122-112 loss to the Washington Wizards at Little Caesars Arena.
The Pistons fell to .500 (22-22) for the first time since Oct. 23, losing their fourth in a row. They are 12-19 in their past 31.
Detroit led 29-19 after one quarter but was outscored a by a combined 72-45 in the second and third quarters. The Pistons allowed their season-high in points and have yielded 107 or more points in six of their past nine games.
