The Detroit Pistons have had point guard issues galore since apparently solving them with the signing of Ish Smith this summer. Starting point guard Reggie Jackson went down with knee tendinitis and is expected to miss the first 15-20 games of the regular season, which moved Smith into the starting spot.
That left a hole at the backup point guard spot while Jackson recovers, and while Ray McCallum and Lorenzo Brown battled for that position during training camp and the preseason, it appears the Pistons have found a different solution.
