Detroit Pistons assign Henry Ellenson, Khyri Thomas to Grand Rapids Drive

AUBURN HILLS -- The Detroit Pistons have assigned forward Henry Ellenson and guard Khyri Thomas to the Grand Rapids Drive, the team's NBA G League affiliate.

Ellenson has appeared in only one game, scoring seven points and grabbing three rebounds in eight minutes of mop-up duty Oct. 27 against the Celtics.

The Pistons earlier this week declined to exercise Ellenson's option for next season, making him an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Ellenson, the 18th overall pick in 2016, has appeared in 58 carer games, averaging 3.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 8.3 minutes. In 23 career G League games, Ellenson has averaged 18.
