AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – The Detroit Pistons announced today that the club will participate in the 2015 Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League which will be held at the Amway Center's practice court in Orlando, FL. The league will feature 10 teams (Orlando will field two teams) and will run from July 4-10 with a championship day slated for the final day.
Current Pistons’ players Spencer Dinwiddie and Quincy Miller along with the Pistons’ first and second round draft selections, Stanley Johnson and Darrun Hilliard, are all expected to participate. Pistons assistant coaches Bob Beyer, Tim Hardaway and Charles Klask, along with Otis Smith, head coach of the Grand Rapids Drive – the Pistons NBA D-League affiliate, will serve as the summer league coaching staff, with Beyer as head coach.
