The Detroit Pistons are not likely to be big buyers when it comes to NBA free agents.
Not only will they have limited cap space, but most of the roster spots are already spoken for, especially after the Pistons take Cade Cunningham in the NBA Draft and re-sign Hamidou Diallo and Frank Jackson.
With ten players definitely under contract, the Pistons would likely have to make a trade to clear any roster spots if they want to make a significant addition in free agency that doesn’t involve one of their own guys.
