To say the Detroit Pistons have been bad at drafting would be a gross understatement.
Detroit’s recent draft history is downright ugly. Take out Andre Drummond and it’s a list of mostly busts. The players who weren’t busts (Khris Middleton and Spencer Dinwiddie) found their success on other teams. In fact, prior to Drummond, the last All-Star the Pistons drafted was….wait for it….. Mehmet Okur, all the way back in 2001. Post-Drummond has been more of the same.
The Pistons have been particularly terrible at drafting guards and wings.
