Detroit Pistons combo guard Langston Galloway was one of the few players that fit into new coach Dwane Casey’s system.
Galloway, who enters the final year of his three-year contract signed in 2017, was a mainstay in the lineup as a result, playing in 80 regular season games and all four postseason games. It’s the first time he’s received that much run since playing 82 games with the New York Knicks in the 2015-16 season, Galloway’s second.
The 6-foot-2 guard has an uncertain future in Detroit. In the past year, the Pistons have signed point guards Derrick Rose and Tim Frazier, drafted Jordan Bone, traded for sharpshooter Sviatoslav Mykhaiuliuk and have seen the emergence of Bruce Brown and Luke Kennard in increased roles.
