The Detroit Pistons had hoped that their young quartet of rookies and sophomores comprised of Stanley Johnson, Darrun Hilliard, Henry Ellenson and Michael Gbnije would take the Orlando Summer League by storm this coming week, but that plan has hit a road block.
According to the Pistons’ official Twitter account, Hilliard has suffered a stress fracture in his lower back and will miss at least the summer league games.

Hilliard will be evaluated by team physicians & a rehab process and timeline for return will be determined once diagnosis is complete.
