The second-year player is expected to be back in time for training camp.
With Orlando Summer League about to kick off, news has emerged that second-year guard Darrun Hilliard has suffered a stress fracture in his lower-back that is expected to rule him out of the summertime competition. Hilliard's injury comes at an inopportune time for the Villanova product, with the Pistons' Keith Langlois explaining that the shooting guard had been having a strong summer up until now.
According to Langlois, the injury is similar in nature to the one suffered by Jodie Meeks in 2014 that led to him missing 22 regular season games, and whilst news of the nature of Hilliard's injury may have you worried, don't read into it too much.
