Darrun Hilliard 2015-16 season profile

Who: Darrun Hilliard, Shooting Guard/Small Forward

2015-16 Stats: 4.0 points, 0.7 assists, 1.2 rebounds, 0.5 turnovers, 10.1 minutes per game, 38 games, two games started.

Darrun Hilliard was drafted by the Pistons with pick 38 of the 2015 NBA Draft and was expected to be a depth player this season behind Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jodie Meeks at shooting guard and behind Marcus Morris and Stanley Johnson at small forward, however due to trades and injury he found himself featuring in far more games than originally planned.

Illness to Caldwell-Pope and Reggie Bullock saw Hilliard get his first NBA start on March 23 against the Orlando Magic and a second start in the last game of the regular season against the Cleveland Cavaliers as all the starters were rested.
