It happened, the Detroit Pistons have finally won again! Tonight was a tremendous showing from the Pistons younger group of players. The 19 year old rookie Sekou Doumbouya logged 38 minutes of action while recording 16 points and 10 rebounds on 60 percent shooting. It was his second consecutive NBA start and has recorded a double-double in both games.
Bruce Brown scored 14 points to go along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Both he and Svi Mykhaililuk have grown into their elevated roles these last few weeks. They’ve both been forced into seeing larger minutes due to the sheer number of injuries the Pistons have suffered, and although Detroit has come up on the losing end more often than not as of late, they hustle until the very end.
