Brandon Jennings has been out of action ever since suffering a ruptured left Achilles last January in a game against the Milwaukee Bucks. His return has been much-anticipated by the Pistons, particularly since the bench has revealed itself to be entirely substandard this season.
According to Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press, Jennings suffered a Baker’s cyst behind his right knee on Thursday after his heaviest practice load since the injury.
He was doing one-on-one drills for about 90 minutes against Steve Blake, Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson, and suffered some understandable soreness as a result of pushing himself harder than he has in almost a year.
