Blake Griffin was ejected after a flagrant-2 foul on Malik Monk on Sunday in Detroit’s 113-103 loss.
Griffin had struggled all night and felt he had enough and committed a dumb, dangerous foul on a defenseless Monk while he was in the air.
According to the Fox Sports Detroit broadcast, Blake then told the refs the foul was their fault — as he took his frustrations out and intentionally committed the infraction.
Like I said, dumb.
Luckily, Monk was not hurt and Griffin will likely find his wallet a little lighter but not suspended.
