CRITICAL SHORTAGE – Whatever game plan the Philadelphia 76ers devised to play the Pistons for the fourth time in 25 games – they’re finished for the season with each other already – it’s fair to guess it was crumpled up and thrown in the trash after news broke Monday afternoon that Blake Griffin would sit out. Griffin, 11th in NBA scoring at 25.6 points a game, had averaged 39.7 points, 13.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in three games this season against Philadelphia.
