In a deal that sheds enough cap room for the Boston Celtics to sign Gordon Hayward, the Detroit Pistons got away with a steal in Avery Bradley. Giving up Marcus Morris was no small task. For Bradley, though, it was an easy decision for Stan Van Gundy.
Marcus Morris joined the Pistons following a trade with the Phoenix Suns in 2015. It was another Stan Van Gundy steal, as Detroit only gave up a 2020 second round pick. This means that the Pistons turned a 2020 second round pick into a 2019 second round pick and Avery Bradley.
