It’s officially been two weeks since the NBA season was suspended due to growing concerns of COVID-19 and it’s inability to be contained. The last time the Detroit Pistons played was on March 11th against the Sixers.
As it stands, it remains unknown when the season will return from hiatus, if it even does. Currently the Pistons have lost 12 of their last 13 games. They’ve only managed to win one game since trading Andre Drummond at the deadline.
There are more silver linings to this then it may appear at first glance. For starters, obviously with Detroit entering a rebuild, the more you lose the better chance you have at obtaining a top selection in the draft.
