It was a decision many expected, after a disappointing 2015 season that saw Martin average 1.6 points and 0.9 rebounds in 8.6 minutes per game, whilst shooting .283/.182/.000 in 23 contests. Originally brought in for his shooting prowess, the 30 year-old struggled to crack Stan Van Gundy's rotation, and was buried on the bench behind Caron Butler, Tayshaun Prince and Kyle Singler.
