SEASON SUMMARY
When the Pistons lost Brandon Jennings for the season in late January, general manager Jeff Bower and Stan Van Gundy kicked every can and scoured every roster of teams around the globe, finding what they were looking for in Lucas, who was playing in China at the time. He joined the Pistons in early February, first signing two 10-day contracts and finally signing for the rest of the season. Lucas averaged 13 minutes in the 21 games he played, posting 4.7 points and 2.9 assists a game.
