New Detroit Pistons head coach/general manager Stan Van Gundy appears ready and willing to retool his roster just over a quarter of the way into his first season in charge of the team.
According to Howard Beck of Bleacher Report, Van Gundy looks to have zeroed in on Brandon Jennings and Josh Smith as potential trade chips:
New Pistons president Stan Van Gundy needs to trade one or both of these guys if he wants to preserve the sanity of new Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy. Both are firmly on the block, per rival executives.
Vincent Ellis of the Detroit Free Press believes that, especially in Josh Smith's case, a trade will be easier said that done:
Folks asking about Smith trade prospects. Would say not good currently. Think teams would want a first-rounder to TAKE Smith.

On the Pistons' roster, it appears like everyone except Andre Drummond could be available for the right price. However, Smith and Jennings are likely to be the first to go if Stan Van Gundy can find a trade suitor or two to take their contracts on.
