ALLENP PARK -- Yes, the Detroit Lions really lost yet another defensive lineman.

Brandon Copeland tore his pec in Detroit's preseason opener against Indianapolis, according to multiple reports, and is done for the season. He's the second defensive end to be lost for the season because of the game, joining Kerry Hyder (Achilles).

The Lions did beat Indianapolis 24-10, although that does nothing to mollify the growing concerns about their mounting injuries at a position that was already among their thinnest.
