ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions secondary keeps taking hits. On Wednesday, they brought in reinforcements.
Detroit has claimed cornerback Lenzy Pipkins off waivers from Indianapolis, and released linebacker Marquis Flowers in the corresponding move.
Pipkins, who went undrafted out of Oklahoma State last year, began his career in Green Bay. He played 12 games there in 2017, both on the outside and in the slot. He made 15 tackles and broke up one pass.
He was traded to Indianapolis before this season, but played in just one game for the Colts before getting released on Tuesday.
