Will jet lag be an issue when the Detroit Lions faces the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in London?
Probably not for the Lions, who left Monday night for jolly old England. They followed the same travel schedule last year and beat the Atlanta Falcons 22-21 at Wembley Stadium.
But it remains to be seen how the long journey will affect the Chiefs since they aren't scheduled to make the trans-Atlantic flight until Thursday night.
In an effort to keep his team's schedule as normal as possible – if that's even possible given the Chiefs will be playing more than 4,300 miles from home – coach Andy Reid delayed the nine-hour flight to London so his team can practice at home through Thursday.
