ALLEN PARK -- Where in the world is Eric Ebron?
The Detroit Lions tight end was expected to return to practice last week. Then he didn't. And he didn't practice at all this week either.
Yet coach Jim Caldwell says Ebron hasn't suffered a setback.
With 18 days left until the season opener, Ebron has practiced parts of just two days. He hasn't put in a full day of work. It's reminiscent of last season, when he missed almost all of training camp with an ankle injury, then battled his health throughout the season.
But Caldwell doesn't seem overly concerned by the tight end's continued issues staying healthy.
