ST. PAUL, Minne. -- After spending nearly an hour with Matt Patricia at the Super Bowl, it remained unclear whether he's ever even heard of the Detroit Lions.
The Patriots defensive coordinator is expected to be named Detroit's head coach after facing Philadelphia on Sunday in Super Bowl LII. But during opening night festivities at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., he swatted away every question about Detroit. And every question about the Lions.
Bob Quinn? Who ever heard of him anyway?
"I'm really just worried about Philadelphia," he said, often and repeatedly.
Other reporters were armed with questions about Patricia's dalliance with the Giants.
