What we know about Matthew Stafford and the other 11 players missing practice

ALLEN PARK -- Sam Martin practiced for the first time since the summer. And it seemed he was about the only guy practicing.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford headlined a long list of players who sat out the Detroit Lions' last practice of the bye week. Receiver Golden Tate, receiver Kenny Golladay, receiver TJ Jones, defensive end Ezekiel Ansah, defensive end Anthony Zettel, defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson, linebacker Paul Worrilow, safety Glover Quin and offensive linemen T.J. Lang, Emmett Cleary and Greg Robinson also didn't work out.

That's 10 starters, plus two of the starters' injury replacements.

Stafford: Played through a right ankle injury Sunday, then appeared to suffer a chest injury in the game.
