TAMPA, Fla. -- Acquired just a matter of hours before the Lions boarded their flight to Florida, Eli Harold was not in uniform for the 33-30 win against the Buccaneers on Friday night.
But coach Matt Patricia is eager to see what exactly his new linebacker can bring to the table this week.
"Just a good, young player," Patricia said after the win at Raymond James Stadium. "Very long player, little versatility. Has some edge setting ability, really does a good job with his hands, he's got great leverage."
Lions GM Bob Quinn acquired Harold in a trade with San Francisco on Thursday, a deal that has some upside and carries no risk.
