Albeit it’s really small and requires many things to go right. I’ve spent the last hour on ESPN’s playoff machine trying to decipher which scenarios would get the Detroit Lions into the playoffs. This is a something I never thought I would even be thinking about just a few weeks ago. The Lions got routed by what at the time looked to be a lowly Kansas City Chiefs team. A few days later the Lions fired Tom Lewand and Martin Mayhew and most packed it in for the long haul and looked forward to Black Monday.
Here we are four weeks later and the Lions are on a winning streak and on the heels of an offensive explosion on Thanksgiving.
