What does the Lions’ 2-0-1 start mean?

It means everyone’s safe. No bye-week firings. No big course corrections, player meetings and existential angst. Everyone’s fear of a possible 1-5 start is now dispelled because the Lions are winning by playing complementary football. When the offense isn’t singing, the defense is doing enough to keep the opponents’ offenses at bay.
