To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Ford family’s ownership of the Detroit Lions, fans were treated to another miserable, yet predictable defeat this Thanksgiving. What excuses can the Lions have now for their unending failures? How many times can they blame the quarterback? Or the secondary? Or the offensive line? Or the coaches? Or the general manager? Or the officiating? Or the weather? Or any of the myriad of reasons they have used to justify their existence in the NFL?
