The Lions had their third preseason game in Jacksonville in front of a National TV audience Friday night.
Although several starters sat out, it was still an increased playing time for the ones that did take the field, like quarterback Matthew Stafford.
The starting offense started a little slow, but a 62-yard touchdown pass from Stafford to wide receiver Golden Tate really got things going.
The starting defense, on the other hand, did not have as much success.
"We have to get better. That's a fact," head coach Jim Caldwell said of his defense after the game.
