WEEK IN REVIEW: 2015 Lions defense taking shape

Between free agency and the draft, the Lions defense saw multiple changes, especially up front.

According to one veteran on defense, change isn't necessarily a bad thing.

"We had an embarrassment of riches last year," Darryl Tapp admitted this offseason. "I mean, Ndamukong Suh is an All-Pro and a Hall of Famer, probably. Nick (Fairley) can be the same level of player. George Johnson came out of nowhere and had what, six or seven sacks? Those guys were counted on heavily last year.

"This year, we're living an unknown. I think everyone is taking it as a chip on their shoulder and they continue to work and get better because we have a lot of stuff to prove this year.
