Pederson, who runs the offense as head coach, admitted that former Lions head coach and current Eagles defensive coordinator, Jim Schwartz, deserves quite a bit of the credit for Philadelphia's stellar play on defense thus far. Philadelphia currently ranks first in the NFL in points allowed (9.0). Pederson loves the aggressive style Schwartz has brought to the defense.
