The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills don’t have much to play for. Both teams are beat up. The Bills are already eliminated from playoff contention, and the Lions’ postseason odds are beyond realistic at this point.
That being said, draft position is on the line on Sunday. Currently the Lions (5-8) are eighth in the draft order, while the Bills (4-9) sit at sixth. A win on Sunday could push either team significantly down the draft order, with eight teams within one game of each other at the top of the draft.
