Wednesday open thread: Who is the Lions’ midseason MVP?

While I know a lot of people would rather talk about 2019 or coaching changes or anything else about the destruction of the Detroit Lions franchise, the truth is we’ve got eight more games left in the season. Expectations have plummeted—and for good reason—but there will be plenty of time in the offseason to talk about the future of the franchise.

Let’s take at least a moment to reflect on the Lions’ first half of the season and appreciate some individual performances. Because while the sky isn’t as rosy as we once believed, there are some reasons for optimism going forward.
