Earlier this week, Pro Football Focus released a list of the 25 players under 25 years old. The Detroit Lions didn’t have a single player amongst them, which is understandable but not really a good measure of how much young talent the team has.
Detroit has key, young players at nearly every position, from running back, to tight end, to offensive line/defensive line, linebacker, plus a loaded secondary.
So today’s Question of the Day is:
Who is the Lions’ best player under 25?
My answer: First, let’s look at the candidates:
Kerryon Johnson (21)
Frank Ragnow (22)
Da’Shawn Hand (23)
Jamal Agnew (24)
Jarrad Davis (24)
Jesse James (24)
A’Shawn Robinson (24)
Tracy Walker (24)
At this point, I’m not going to anoint any rookies as the best player under 25, so we’re left with the list above.
