The Detroit Lions went into the 2019 NFL Draft with a bunch of needs, and the left having addressed almost all of them. Cornerback, tight end, linebacker, wide receiver, edge, safety all were needs of varying degrees and all were addressed at some point in the draft.
At this point the Lions have a somewhat acceptable roster across the board. It’s far from perfect—and Detroit isn’t done roster building anyways—but it’d be hard to argue that the Lions haven’t improve their roster significantly from last year.
But there’s always room for improvement and the Lions will need to sport an impressive roster to challenge for the NFC North.
