Detroit Lions fans have been clamoring for it all season, and on Sunday they got it. Undrafted rookie Tion Green was active for the first time in his career against the Ravens and he made the most out of his first NFL touch.
With Ameer Abdullah out with an injury, the Lions gave the rock to Green early in the second quarter and he did not hesitate to take it for 33 yards:
Green displayed excellent speed to the edge and made a perfect cut upfield.
The 33-yard scamper was the third-longest run of the season for the Lions, trailing only two 34-yard rushes from Abdullah.
