The Detroit Lions third game of the NFL season was a tale of two halves.
The Green Bay Packers owned the first half Sunday by scoring 31 points; the Lions owned the second by scoring 17.
Lions' Jim Caldwell: 'We had a little spark' after halftime, but hole was too big
The Lions outscored the Packers 17-3 in the second half after trailing 31-10 at intermission.
Add it all up and the Lions' inability to climb out of a deep hole in the first half was a big reason the Packers were able to post a 34-27 victory at Lambeau Field.
