ALLEN PARK -- Frank Ragnow thought he had a chance to go in the first round, even if analysts weren't so sure. He knew some teams really liked him.
He just had no idea the Detroit Lions were one of them.
The Lions wound up selecting the Arkansas offensive lineman with the 20th overall pick in the NFL draft. Which surprised Ragnow, because the Lions hadn't talked to him since the combine. That was two months ago.
"To be honest, I was pretty surprised," Ragnow said. "They actually mentioned that on the phone, that they really tried to keep it under the radar.
