Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano dies suddenly at age 56

This is supposed to be one of the most exciting parts of the year on the NFL calendar, with players and coaches reporting to training camp in the next few days. Unfortunately for the Minnesota Vikings, they will first have to deal with tragedy.

Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano died unexpectedly on Sunday at the way-too-young age of 56. Sparano had been the Vikings offensive line coach since 2016. Prior to being hired to that position, Sparano was the head coach with the Miami Dolphins from 2008 to 2011 and was the interim head coach in Oakland for a season.
