Netflix decision makers—if you are for whatever reason reading this, please, keep this going. After the success of the first season of Netflix’s docuseries, “Quarterback,” I think most fans of the NFL knew the second iteration of the series would also be well-received. And man, were they right.
As expected, “Receiver,” has taken the football world by storm. Everything is there from a production-value standpoint, and the personalities featured on the show speak for themselves. This season followed several of the game’s best pass-catchers, including the Minnesota Vikings’ Justin Jefferson, Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers, and of course the sun god himself—Detroit Lions’ receiver Amon-Ra St.
