UTSA's Marcus Davenport could give Lions the pass-rush help they need

Less than 24 hours after the Detroit Lions' season ended and on the same day he fired Jim Caldwell as the team’s head coach, Bob Quinn made one obvious observation about his team’s roster.

It needs some more help on defense.

Detroit’s secondary is in good shape with All-Pro Darius Slay at cornerback and former Pro Bowler Glover Quin at safety. Quandre Diggs emerged as a potential starter opposite Quin toward the end of the season, and last year’s second round pick Teez Tabor could slide in opposite Slay at corner.
