This past weekend, former Detroit Lions running back Jahvid Best was selected to be a part of the men's track team for St. Lucia. Best will compete in the 100-meter dash. With Jahid being the first Summer Olympic athlete to have prior history in the NFL, I began to think about what it would be like if football were an olympic sport.
This may seem a little far fetched, but it is possible. With the CFL and the European Federation of American Football, there's no reason to think that other countries won't be able to form teams.
