Allen Park — When it comes to playing Aaron Rodgers, the definition of success can be broad.
Last season, Rodgers started two games against the Detroit Lions, but only finished one. In the full game he played, he threw for 442 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. That's not a stat line any defensive coach wants to see.
But the Lions won the game. So regardless of the video-game-like stat sheet for Rodgers, it was a successful day for Lions coach Matt Patricia and his team.
Ignoring the game where Rodgers left in the first quarter due to injury last season, a 31-0 thumping the Lions laid on the Packers to close out the year, Patricia is 1-1 against Rodgers as a head coach or defensive coordinator.
