ALLEN PARK -- The Lions finally made a move at running back over the weekend by coming to terms with veteran Matt Asiata. But he isn't the only newcomer trying out at the position.
The Lions didn't select any of the 30 running backs that were picked in the draft, but they were on the horn in the late rounds with Tion Green's people. They liked the power back out of Cincinnati, and told him they could be interested in signing him if they didn't pick a back.
Green's ears perked up at the offer.
