ALLEN PARK -- The bloodletting has started, and even Bob Quinn's own draft picks haven't been spared.
Linebacker Antwione Williams, a fifth-round pick last year, is gone (per ESPN). And so is defensive end Pat O'Connor, a seventh-round pick this year (per the Detroit Free Press).
O'Connor's dismissal is not a surprise at all, and it bodes well for the chances of undrafted rookies Jeremiah Valoaga and Alex Barrett. Although Detroit is also expected to explore free agency in the coming days to boost a past rush that bad last year and awful throughout the preseason.
