When the Lions were able to trade cornerback Mohammed Seisay to Seattle last month for a sixth-round draft pick, it spoke to the depth and talent on this current Lions roster.

The Lions showed once again they're deep at a number of positions after trading reserve tackle Michael Williams to the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots on Tuesday, per the Boston Globe. It's unclear what the Lions got back in compensation, but it's believed to be a draft pick.
The Lions don't officially announce trades until the player(s) involved pass a physical and the trade becomes official with the league.
