Last year in New England, then Patriots tight end Tim Wright caught two touchdown passes in a 34-9 win over the Lions.
Wright, who signed with Tampa Bay in the offseason, is now going to join the Lions via trade, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Citing sources, Rapoport reports that the Lions have traded for Wright. It’s unclear what the Lions gave up to get him.
The team doesn’t announce trades until the player(s) involved pass a physical and the trade becomes official with the league.
