Franklin – While the Detroit Lions were taking part in offseason workouts Thursday, linebacker Stephen Tulloch was promoting his new children’s book.
It’s been a strange offseason and contract situation that Tulloch hopes is resolved soon.
“It’s been a long journey,” said Tulloch, 31, who has one year left on his contract for $5.5 million. “I was told back in February the team wanted to kind of go in a younger direction, which is understandable. We had some things to work out in between and that’s why things haven’t unfolded.
“Hopefully we can resolve things in the next couple of days and hopefully get things under wrap.
